Kaizer Chiefs face stiff competition in Nasreddine Nabi pursuit

Kaizer Chiefs are pursuing outgoing Yanga SC coach Nasreddine Nabi to replace Arthur Zwane as the new boss at Naturena.

As reported on The South African website on Monday, Chiefs have already offered Nabi the job but whether or not he accepts it depends on personal terms.

What is in the public domain right now is that Nabi wants to bring in his own backroom staff, and that includes among the others an assistant coach, a goalkeeper coach and a fitness and conditioning coach.

And whether or not Chiefs accept those terms remains to be seen, but the management is under immense pressure to make tough decisions by their fans.

Furthermore, Chiefs should know that time is not on their side as they face stiff competition for the double-treble winning Tunisian coach.

According to SABC Sport, Nabi has offers from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Algeria, and he’s considering them the same way as he’s considering the Chiefs offer.

“SABC Sport has on good authority that Nabi is also considering offers from Saudi Arabia, Algeria and his native Tunisia – and these have recently come about after winning five trophies in two seasons with Yanga.”
