Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane injured by police – UPDATE

A key update has been issues on Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane. Turns out, he was injured by police. Here is an update on his wellbeing.

Zwane was injured after Amakhosi’s 1-o loss against SuperSport United over the weekend.

However, in a surprise turn of events, it turns out he was injured by police, not Amakhosi fans.

CHIEFS COACH INJURED BY POLICE

First things first, he may have been injured by police but it was in an attempt to protect him.

Fans were throwing objects at Zwane and they had to rush to shield the Amakhosi coach to ensure he does not get harmed.

Ironically, in the process, he was injured. Thankfully, their shielding prevented any serious injuries.

“I can confirm that the coach was injure after the game. He was hurt in the eye and received medical attention. He wasn’t hit by the objects thrown by the fans but was injured by the shield of police that was trying to protect him,” Amakhosi spokesperson Vina Maphosa confirmed on SoccerLaduma.

A key update was given on Zwane’s wellbeing.

“The coach is recovering well and should be on the bench against City [Cape Town] in our last game,” he added.

ZWANE MENTAL WELLBEING IS A CONCERN

Zwane is recovering well physically.

However, his mental wellbeing is a concern. He had several objects thrown at you and needed police protection.

So, now he must worry about his safety on top of his performance after an underwhelming and disappointing first season in charge.
