S’fiso Hlanti, Given Msimango and Sibongiseni Mthethwa were all named in Broos’ 44-man preliminary squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Meaning, their is still the possibility that Amakhosi could have no players in the squad.

BAFANA BAFANA TO TAKE ON BENIN AND RWANDA
South Africa have a busy schedule ahead of them
“The team will go into camp at the University of Pretoria on Monday 13 November 2023 and travel to Durban on 16 November 2023,” SAFA stated.
“After playing Benin in the coastal city, they will travel to Rwanda on 19 November 2023 and return to South Africa on 22 November,” they added.
