SASSA reminder: the next social grant payment dates

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is responsible for social grant payments, which includes the Social Relief of Distress Grant, the Disability Grant, the Childcare Grant, and the Foster Care Grant.

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) pays social grants, which includes the Childcare and Older Persons (Pensioners) Grant.

However, every month’s payment date is different.

SASSA: June’s grant payments

SASSA have confirmed June’s grant payment dates.

Older Persons (Pensioners) Grants pay on 4 June, 2024. Disability Grants will pay on 5 June, 2024. Childcare and Foster Grants will pay on 6 June, 2024.

However, the SRD Grant pays later during the same month.

SASSA: August’s grant payments

Here are August’s SASSA grant payment dates:

Older Persons (Pensioners) Grants pay on 2 August, 2024. Disability Grants pay on 5 August, 2024. Childcare and Foster Child Grants pay out on 6 August, 2024.

However, you can expect SRD Grant Payments later in the same month.

Social Grant Payments for September

September’s payment schedule is as follows:
