ICYMI: Kaizer Chiefs to swop former Bafana Bafana keeper for new signing

Kaizer Chiefs management are set to release one of Amakhosi’s former Bafana Bafana stars in order to pave way for a new signing.

Bruce Bvuma is the latest Amakhosi player to be linked with an exit out of Naturena, according to Phakaaati.

Furthermore, this is because management is looking at bringing in a new goalkeeper. Meaning, they need to free up space in their current squad for their soon-to-be new shot-stopper.

CHIEFS MANAGEMENT SET TO RELEASE EX-BAFANA BAFANA STAR

Former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has beeen linked with a shock likely exit.

This is because captain Itumeleng Khune is set to be offered a contract extension and Brandon Peterson is currently the form keeper.

Therefore, Bvuma is the man set to be the man sacrificed by Amakhosi management.

“But they know they have to let one go and Bruce (Bvuma) is the one who will be sacrificed,” the club insider confirmed on the same publication.

It was certainly not an easy decision for the Soweto giants to make.

However, when one door closes another opens.

BVUMA TO BE INVOLVED IN SWOP DEAL?

Amakhosi have already opened talks with a new goalkeeper.

“I don’t know what the final decision was but from what I heard he could be part of the deal and go the other way when the new keeper comes,” he added.

Currently, his name has not yet been disclosed but it is believed that Bvuma may be offered as part of the deal.
