Sekhukhune United held Kaizer Chiefs to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in the DStv Premiership

Kaizer Chiefs returned to DStv Premiership action on Saturday evening when they traveled to the Peter Mokaba Stadium to face Sekhukhune United.

Elias Mokwana broke the deadlock in the 41st minute through a superb header. The reported Orlando Pirates transfer target met a Kamohelo Mokotjo’s cross and beat Bruce Bvuma at his near post.

Ranga Chivaviro managed to find an equaliser after 80 minutes of play with an emphatic finish from the edge of the box.

There were no further goals at the Peter Mokaba Stadium with both teams walking away with one point apiece.

The Glamour Boys moved up to sixth on the log standings while Sekhukhune United sit in 12th.

“So, we are planning to maintain the momentum of winning. We have been training hard, and we will give our best on match-day to get those minimum points.” Ashley Du Preez told IOL.
