Khama Billiat is embarking on a new, less glamorous chapter in his career. The former Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns man will now be the marquee name at Yadah FC.

Billiat is unveiled at Yadah after Kaizer Chiefs chapter closes

33-year-old Khama Billiat, three-time DStv Premiership winner and CAF Champions League winner in 2016, knows about winning on the grand, glitzy, glamorous stages of African football. It’s safe to say that his new surroundings are a little more humble. The former Sundowns man is taking a massive pay cut to revive his career in Zimbabwe.

Khama’s 24 goals and 29 assists in 126 appearances for Chiefs mean he directly contributed to 0.42 goals per game for the Glamour Boys. Contrast that with his stats for Sundowns, where his direct output was 0.64 goals per game. The numbers don’t lie, and not all of that can be attributed to him being surrounded by better players at Chloorkop. Injuries certainly didn’t help, but age also comes for all of us. Check out his stats from club to club down the years.
