Injury prone? Kaizer Chiefs’ attacking ace sidelined yet again

Kaizer Chiefs winger Keagan Dolly sustained an ankle injury and could be out of action until next year February.

Kaizer Chiefs winger Keagan Dolly is set to be on the sidelines yet again following another injury.

The 30-year-old can’t seem to catch a break and could be out until 2024.

Dolly missed Chiefs preseason due to injury and only made a return in September. During the Soweto Derby match against Orlando Pirates, the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns winger sustained what is thought to be an ankle injury.

Kaizer Chiefs’ Dolly injured yet again

According to FARPost, Dolly could be out for a period of six weeks which will see him miss out on three league games this year.

Chiefs play Polokwane City, Richards Bay and Sekhukhune United this month before the Afcon break.

Chances are Dolly will only be back in action in February when the DStv Premiership resumes.

Amakhosi have had a difficult start to the season, winning only five of their 13 league games so far.

Another Chiefs player who missed action due to injury is Thatayaone Ditlhokwe. The defender dislocated his shoulder while representing Botswana a few months back.
