KAIZER CHIEFS DEAL FOR MATTHEWS STILL A DISTANCE PROSPECT

Tashreeq Matthews remains a target for Chiefs but a deal isn’t on the table yet.

“As much as the new coach will determine the signing of Tashreeq Matthews he will also be looking at which players the team needs to keep or release so I think it will happen during the transfer window period in January,” the source adds.

“Or it could be in July around the off-season time (for Matthews’ signing). What I can tell you though is that Tashreeq Matthews is still on the club’s wanted list as it stands now.”
