ICYMI: One step forward, two steps back for Kaizer Chiefs?

Kaizer Chiefs have signed no fewer than seven brand new players. Is their latest recruit a step backwards though?

KAIZER CHIEFS SIGN THE EXPERIENCED POTSANE

The Glamour Boys have been rebuilding their squad for the last two windows. 29-year-old Tebogo Potsane is the latest arrival from Royal AM, but his signing hasn’t won over the majority of fans.

WHAT’S THE PHILOSOPHY AT NATURENA?

Chiefs seem to be strengthening the squad with players of all age profiles. Thatayaone Ditlhokwe (24) and Given Msimango (26) are two players who are still relatively young given their position on the pitch. Pule Mmodi and Ranga Chivaviro are hardly spring chickens but both have what it takes to produce a prolific output of goals and assists at this level. With five goals and 15 assists from 131 top-flight appearances, Tebogo Potsane is hardly the headline signing to wow supporters. Is he being signed as a player to compete for a first-team place, or provide a rotational option?

RUMOUR: Chiefs could still welcome three three names

ICYMI: Remember the name of this wonder kid!
