“I can’t remember Chiefs beating me” says Sekhukhune coach

Sekhukhune United coach Brandon Truter is unbeaten against Kaizer Chiefs and will continue to keep it that way when his side plays Amakhosi on Wednesday.

Sekhukhune United will play Chiefs at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday evening knowing that a win could take them to third in the DStv Premiership log.

Amakhosi come into the game after back to back defeats against SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns and will look to target Babina Noko’s unbeaten run of four games in all competitions.

“I can’t remember Chiefs beating me and with our records in KZN, I think they looked at that and decided to bring it there,” said Sekhukhune coach Brandon Truter.

“They have signed big players and big players come with big expectations, so the pressure just grows there.

“For any other team that plays against Chiefs, the motivation in itself is there for the players. Yes we will prepare, but that is one for the players,” he said.

Truter fired Babina Noko into the top eight last season and also reached the Nedbank Cup final where his side was beaten 2-1 by Orlando Pirates.
