Sundowns though, are reportedly willing to go all out for the Bafana Bafana forward.

The left-footed striker has scored six goals already this season and is so far among the leading goal-scorers in the league.

According to Soccer Laduma, Cape Town City chairman John Comitis is willing to sell Mayo for $2 million(R37 million) should the striker score 15 goals this season.

Sundowns looking to steal Mayo

“If Mayo scores 15 goals this season, I said ‘Everybody this is his price tag’ and I don’t think i’m wrong. He’s on six and I think he’s just going to keep on scoring goals,” said Comitis.
