Midfielder Margeman made his PSL debut in the 2016/17 season for Ajax Cape Town (renamed Cape Town Spurs) and managed to play just under 100 games in his three-year stay at the club, before securing a move to Mamelodi Sundowns at the start of the 2020/21 season.

In the 2021/22 season Margeman was loaned out to Swallows FC to get some game time and managed to get over 20 games under his belt and will hope to get more game time at Matsatsantsa.

Forward Sibanyoni played a major role in helping University of Pretoria to reach second spot in the GladAfrica Championship in the 2021/22 season, losing narrowly in the playoffs to Swallows FC.

Sibanyoni played a crucial role in helping Bafana Bafana win the COSAFA Cup in Gqeberha in 2021.

Margeman said he was excited to join Matsatsantsa: “It’s a great privilege to join a team like SuperSport United and I feel honoured to be part of this club. I feel that it’s a step in the right direction in my career right now and I want to do my best. Last season I felt that I had a decent season with Swallows FC, but I am going to work on improving on the stats side, which include scoring goals and getting more assists and helping the club to win games.”

Meanwhile, 26-year-old striker Sibanyoni looked ahead to joining his new team.

“I am happy to join this great club. I have always wanted to prove that I can score goals in the Premier Soccer League, that’s why I am so excited to join SuperSport United. My ambitions are to score more goals and hopefully be in the top 10 goal-scoring-list this season.”

The duo will certainly help bolster the depth in new SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt’s squad.

SuperSport United will get their 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign under way at home against Chippa United on Sunday, 7 August at 17:30.
