ICYMI: Chiefs still looking to strengthen ONE position

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM striker joins Galaxy

Prior to the start of the 2023-24 campaign, the Rockets cashed in on Ivorian striker Djakaridja Junior Traorè. He scored seven goals and supplied an assist in just 16 appearances last term prior to his switch to Istanbulspor in Turkey. Galaxy boss Sead Ramovic identified the striking department as an area of weakness in his squad. The Rockets have failed to score in recent outings against AmaZulu and Royal AM. 31-year-old Nurkovic, most recently with Royal AM, has penned a one-year deal and an option to extend when his contract runs out in May 2024.
