Former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns winger Aubrey Ngoma has resurfaced at AmaTuks.

The 34-year-old has been without a club after SuperSport United decided not to extend his contract.

Ngoma now finds himself back in Pretoria, where his career started with the University of Pretoria.

According to FARPost, the former Cape Town City star has been training with the students.

Chiefs keeper Khune returns after three months of suspension

“Aubrey Ngoma is the prodigal son of AmaTuks, and he’s loved and respected in the team,” FARPost reported.

“So Ngoma has been training with AmaTuks. He’s using the club facilities to keep fit and be ready for the next move in his career.

Ngoma could rejoin Amatuks

“At this point, it looks like the team is just allowing him to train with the club to keep a good physical shape. But we know in football unusual things happen. A player like Harold Majadibodu recently signed with Tuks, but they had said he’s only training to keep fit,” the publication said.

At 34, it looks less likely that Ngoma will attract a PSL club.

He played his best football at Cape Town City, where he was named PSL Midfielder of the Season and Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament in the 2016/17 season.
