Polokwane City coach Phuti Mohafe has provided an update on former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Cole Alexander.

Alexander completed a rather surprise move to Rise and Shine during the January transfer window.

The former Amakhosi and Wits star is yet to break into the club’s starting lineup and an explanation has since been provided.

City using former Kaizer Chiefs star cautiously

“He is coming in well if you can check the minutes that we are giving him,” Mohafe told Farpost.

“Every match is a gradual to him to say we gave him you 15 minutes, we gave you 20 minutes. Today, I think he played moreover 20 minutes.

“He is gradually growing into the team, and he is fitting very well in the system.”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs FC’s management are reportedly closely monitoring TS Galaxy star Lehlohonolo Mojela.

The 27-year-old winger has been a revelation for Sead Ramovic’s Galaxy this season.

In his maiden season at the club, Mojela has scored four goals while assisting one more in the opening half of the season.

And now, his rich form is reportedly attracting serious attention from Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs!

Amakhosi keen on signing Galaxy star Mojela

“It’s unfortunate they could not get him last season when he was still at Casric Stars. They inquired about him even at that time after playing against Casric Stars in the Nedbank Cup.” an insider told SoccerLaduma.

“Kaizer Chiefs started talking to the club but it didn’t go far. They are serious about him.

“Let’s wait and see what Galaxy will say. He hasn’t even spent a full season there but players move in football and anything is possible.”

Mojela is undoubtedly one of the finds of the season. Do you want to see him at Kaizer Chiefs next season? Let us know in the comments section.
