Cape Town Spurs’ search for a new striker is expected to continue into February.

CAPE TOWN SPURS NOT SIGNING FORMER MARITZBURG UNITED STRIKER FRIDAY SAMU

There’s no mystery on why Cape Town Spurs are rock bottom. The Urban Warriors have only scored 11 times in 16 games.

In an attempt to solve the issue, the club invited Friday Samu to Ikamva.

The Zambian striker, who was with Maritzburg in the Motsepe Foundation Champion (MFC) in the first round of this season, spent two weeks training under coach Ernst Middendorp’s watch.

With the transfer window closing this evening, Spurs have decided against signing Samu.
