Kaizer Chiefs have joined the queue for in-demand Congolese striker Fiston Kalala Mayele according to KickOff.

“Kaizer Chiefs did make an official request on the possibility of opening negotiations but have not made an official offer yet. 

“We have had teams that have proposed half a million US dollars and I’m pretty sure that we can get more for him if we hold out a bit,” a source told KickOff.

“Al Hilal and their rivals Al-Merrikh are both pushing while a club in Turkey is also keen. Raja Casablanca are also pushing hard too. Zamalek showed interest but didn’t get to the stage of putting something in writing. There is also Vipers from Uganda, but the player is not even considering that because he wants to take his career to a better league.”
