Arthur Zwane: What next for Kaizer Chiefs coach with Nabi & Pitso available?

Kaizer Chiefs are reported to be have offered Nasreddine Nabi the head coaching job at the club with Arthur Zwane set to be relieved of his duties.

Zwane still years two years left on his contract while Nabi is out of contract at Yanga SC on 30 June, but there could be a new twist.

And this is because Pitso Mosimane has just become available, and it is almost every Chiefs‘ fan’s with to have the former Al Ahly mentor at Naturena.

Mosimane is the most successful South African football coach, and he’s all about projects, and Chiefs fans believe he can end their eight-year trophy drought.

Nabi, on the other hand, has been engaged by Chiefs following two successful seasons with Yanga where he won a double treble in as many seasons.

WHAT NEXT FOR ARTHUR ZWANE AT KAIZER CHIEFS?

It is no secret that there’s no PSL coach as nervous about his future at the moment than Zwane, especially with these high-profile coaches being linked with his job at Chiefs.

To some, Zwane should be given a chance to prove himself while others believe he should be given the boot as he’s failed to deliver on any of his promises.

Zwane is a Chiefs legend, and he understands the club’s culture but narrative is perhaps what has seen the team underperform over the years.

What is needed at Chiefs at the moment is transformation, and that can be done by someone with new ideas and a different approach than just ‘culture’.

As a legend of the club, Zwane should still be given the respect he deserves by the club, and be retained in a different position unless he decides to leave for ‘greener pastures’ if he’s demoted.
