It looks like Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane would be staying another year with the Soweto giants.

Various reports have said that Amakhosi were looking to replace 10111 with Young Africans SC coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Nabi, who’s contract ends end of June, reportedly wants to bring his own technical team should he agree to join Kaizer Chiefs according to iDiski Times.

Zwane likely to stay should Chiefs reject Nabi’s terms

The Tunisian coach is set to have rejected a new contract extention at the club and is seeking a fresh new challenge after winning a domestic treble this season with the Tanzanian giants.

He also reached the CAF Confederation Cup final but narrowly lost out to USM Alger on away goals.

Chiefs are yet to confirm if Zwane will stay or get the boot before the start of next season. Many Chiefs fans still want to see him on the bench but as an assistant.

Nabi on the otherhand, is looking to bring his own technical team meaning there won’t be a seat for 10111 on the bench next season.

Should Chiefs not accepting his terms, Zwane is likely to stay for another season as head coach.

Last month, Zwane was injured after a group of angry fans attacked the team following their defeat against SuperSport United in Rustenburg.

After the final whistle, a group of Khosi fans didn’t take the loss very well and threw objects at the team and one of them struck Zwane.

As a result of the incident, the 49-year-old had to miss the post-match press conference.

Another coach linked to Chiefs is Pitso Mosimane.
