Nigeria star Stanley Nwabali has poured cold water on reported negotiations with Kaizer Chiefs.

The Chippa United goalkeeper has been linked with a blockbuster move away from Chippa United after a successful Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Despite widespread reports of various clubs being interested in him, Nwabali has set the record straight! Take a look at what the reported Kaizer Chiefs target had to say below.

Nwabali denies negotiations with Kaizer Chiefs and co

“I only see offers for me online, to be honest. I only see offers online, and some of my friends take screenshots, send them to me and say that offer is coming,” Nwabali told FarPost amidst reports linking him with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.

“But to be honest, I’ve never seen offers on my table, but you know when there are rumours, I wish all the rumours to come to pass.”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs FC’s management are reportedly closely monitoring TS Galaxy star Lehlohonolo Mojela.

The 27-year-old winger has been a revelation for Sead Ramovic’s Galaxy this season.

In his maiden season at the club, Mojela has scored four goals while assisting one more in the opening half of the season.

And now, his rich form is reportedly attracting serious attention from Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs!

Amakhosi keen on signing Galaxy star Mojela

“It’s unfortunate they could not get him last season when he was still at Casric Stars. They inquired about him even at that time after playing against Casric Stars in the Nedbank Cup,” an insider told SoccerLaduma.

“Kaizer Chiefs started talking to the club, but it didn’t go far. They are serious about him.

“Let’s wait and see what Galaxy will say. He hasn’t even spent a full season there, but players move in football, and anything is possible.”

Mojela is undoubtedly one of the finds of the season. Do you want to see him at Kaizer Chiefs next season? Let us know in the comments section.
