Arsenal once made Nicolas Pepe their most expensive signing but now they have told the Ivory Coast player to find a new club.

Pepe arrived in the Premier League to much fan fare in a deal that cost a whopping £72 million from Lille in 2019.

The 28-year-old attacker was sent out on loan to Ligue 1 with Nice but did not impress.

Now Arsenal want to let him go.

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, who would cost £100 million. and Brighton midfielder Moses Caicedo, who will cost as much as £70 million, are their targets ahead of the new season.

England international midfielder Jude Bellingham has agreed to join Real Madrid despite interest from several Premier League clubs.

Manchester City and Liverpool have lost out. Big time. This comes after the confirmation that Bellingham has pledged his loyalty to LaLiga giants Real Madrid.

BELLINGHAM JOINS REAL MADRID

Bellingham has now agreed a six-year contract after ending his stay with Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

The England star moved to Germany from boyhood club Birmingham in 2020.

A statement from Real Madrid said: “Real Madrid C. F. and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Jude Bellingham, who will be contracted to our club for the next six seasons.

Jude Bellingham will be unveiled as a new Real Madrid player tomorrow, Thursday 15 June, at 12:00 noon at Real Madrid City.

Following this, Jude Bellingham will speak to the media.”

Speaking last month, Bellingham had revealed his desire to join one of European football’s powerhouses. 

Bellingham said: “The goal has always been winning. 

“When you ask me what my biggest ambitions are in the game, it’s to win everything. And I’m not afraid to say that. 

“I feel like everyone should have that goal as professional footballers.”

KROOS WARNS HIM

Teammate Toni Kroos warned the young star to avoid what happened to Eden Hazard. The former Chelsea star saw his career flatline in Spain and left with a year still to run.

 Kroos admitted as much when speaking of Bellingham’s €103m move to the Spanish capital, announced by the La Liga giants on Wednesday. The German told his Einfach mal Luppen podcast: “€103m transfer fee? We now also had someone who came for a lot of money and virtually let his career rest. A lot of money and I think everyone would say in retrospect: That was not such a good transfer. But now let’s start from the positive.”
