Dominik Szoboszlai has scored an absolute screamer of a first goal for Liverpool.

The new signing unleashed a powerful left-footed shot after a cross into the box evaded a clutch of defenders and Reds attackers.

Ryan Gravenberch, a Dutch international, was acquired by Liverpool to round up the recent makeover of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield options.

The rumoured transfer fee for the 21-year-old from Bayern Munich is £34 million ($43 million).

Gravenberch is Liverpool’s fourth midfielder acquisition of the current transfer window.

Alexis Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo served as replacements for Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, James Milner, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

A great destination

“Very happy that the deal is done and I’m finally here,” said Gravenberch.

“If you see it from the outside, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. Also the fans, the stadium, I think everything from the outside is top.”

Gravenberch was a product of the Ajax academy system and made 103 appearances for the Amsterdam club before joining Bayern last year.

But he struggled to make an impact at the German giants, making only six starts in 34 appearances.

For the match against Aston Villa Joe Gomez came into defence in place of the suspended Virgil van Dijk, while Curtis Jones started in midfield.

Darwin Nunez was named in attack after his two-goal display at Newcastle United last weekend, with Wataru Endo and Cody Gakpo the other players making way from last time out.
