Mohamed Salah finished the Premier League season with a share of the coveted Golden Boot alongside Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

But it was another member of his family who hit the back of the net on the final day, as daughter Makka continued the family tradition at Anfield.

She repeated her goal-scoring feat of a year ago with something that looks like becoming a cute tradition at the home of the Champions League finalists.

Salah tops the EPL scoring charts

The Egyptian striker didn’t find the net on the last day as fellow African forward Sadio Mane scored twice in a 2-0 victory over Wolves.

It wasn’t enough for the Reds to pip Manchester City to the title, despite finishing the campaign with a whopping 97 points.

Pep Guardiola’s reigning champions sealed successive EPL crowns thanks to a commanding 4-1 win at Brighton.

Salah will now turn his attention to his homeland as Egypt hosts the 2019 African Cup of Nations in June, a year on from his World Cup bow in Russia.

But not before he plays in the Champions League final for a second year running, as Liverpool take on Premier League rivals Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid on 1 June.

Salah will be hoping it goes a damn sight better than last time, when he was crocked by a hefty Sergio Aguero challenge as the Reds slipped to defeat.
