Amakhosi hung on for grim life for large parts of the match, but ultimately prevailed 1-0 on aggregate over the two legs thanks to Samir Nurkovic’s goal in the first half of the first leg in Casablanca.

It certainly wasn’t pretty at the FNB Stadium for Kaizer Chiefs and their fans, but when all was said and done they’d made history by becoming the first Amakhosi team in their rich history to reach the final of Africa’s premier club tournament.

Kaizer Chiefs will face defending champions Al Ahly in the final on Saturday, 17 July at the Stade Mohammed V Stadium in Morocco.
