Hugo Broos’ side grabbed the lead in the 29th minute, against the run-of-play, it must be said, through Burnley star Lyle Foster.

Why Tau doesn’t play 90 minutes

“What is happening at Al Ahly is that I don’t play 90 minutes anymore. I don’t know if you guys have noticed that,” Bafana star Percy Tau told members of the media.

“This is because I always got injured between the 75th minute the 90th minute. Now I play less minutes, but I also do a lot of work in the gym. I try to strengthen my legs and upper body and that has been the secret so far. ”

Broos happy with Bafana’s opponents

“I’m happy with the opponents of next week. They are two teams who qualified or who nearly qualified for AFCON,” Bafana coach Hugo Broos said as quoted by FarPost.

“That means that they are strong teams. As I always said before, I like to play against more stronger teams. It’s better for us. You become better by playing against such teams.”
