Arthur Zwane happy and outlines his new role Chiefs

Arthur Zwane is happy as a Kaizer Chiefs legend and outlines his new role at the club as he oversees the development coaches.

Zwane says he is happy as a legend of the Soweto giants and reveals his new role is all about monitoring the coaches.

Having been part of the senior team, the Chiefs legend Zwane says he now oversees the likes of Tshidiso Letsholonyane.

In an interview with iDiski Times, Zwane says he is happy to impart knowledge to the young coaches at Chiefs.

On top of that, the former DStv Diski Challenge worked with the likes of Siyabonga Ngezana and Bruce Bvuma, Zwane says he wants to unleash more.

FORGOTTEN ZWANE SPEAKS ON HIS NEW ROLE AT CHIEFS

The Chiefs legend also known as ‘10111’, Zwane was at the Balfour Park in Johannesburg, saying his role at Chiefs is very key.

This comes as the former Chiefs winger was demoted to the development structures when Molefi Ntseki was axed.

“Yes, it’s very, very key. Remember I was once part and parcel of this group,” says Chiefs legend Zwane in his new role.

“It did not need a rocket scientist for me to adapt in terms of adaptation.

“These are the people that I worked with for many, many years.

“And also, I would always have a passion for the game because I’m a student of the game.

“Most importantly is to impart my knowledge to the coaches who want to grow like coach Tshidiso Letsholonyane.”

ZWANE ON PRODUCING CHIEFS AND BAFANA BAFANA STARS

The Soweto-born Chiefs and Bafana legend adds that his mission is to produce more players like Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.

“We are doing this because this is one of our strengths in the development,” adds Zwane about producing Chiefs stars.

“For us to produce players who are developed holistically.

“It’s very, very key for the future of Kaizer Chiefs and the entire nation.”

Looking at his stay with Chiefs, Zwane has been with Amakhosi for more than two decades.
