Siya Kolisi has revealed that he feels a tad jealous of his Springboks teammates who are fit and in full training in preparation for the Rugby Championship.

Kolisi had surgery to his knee at the end of April and he’s been doing intense rehabilitation since, in the hope of making a full recovery before the Rugby World Cup, which will be hosted in France in September and October.

It has, however, long since been confirmed that he will miss the 2023 Rugby Championship, with the latest update on Kolisi’s recovery said to be a return to on-field action in one of the Springboks’ Rugby World Cup warm-up games.

In a video shared across the Springboks’ social media platforms this week, Siya Kolisi spoke candidly about his injury struggles, the progress of his rehabilitation, his gratefulness for the widespread support from around the country and also his feelings of not being able to fully practice with the squad.
