Eben Etzebeth is set to be the big winner at the when the SA Rugby awards are handed out next month. Here is a reminder of all the nominees that have been confirmed for the 2023 season.

Eben Etzebeth is expected to defend his SA Rugby Men’s Player of the Year title, but he will face stiff competition from from four of his Springbok teammates.

Etzebeth, who played a key role for the Springboks in a World Cup winning year, will vie with Pieter-Steph du Toit, Siya Kolisi, Frans Malherbe and Damian Willemse for the most prestigious award in South African rugby.

As confirmed by a high-ranking SA Rugby official, the awards are set to be handed out in mid-March, and it will be interesting to see who takes home the prizes.
