A 7-1 split is not off the cards but it could be with the return of Pollard.

Furthermore, if the Boks want to give Lukhanyo Am a spot in the 23, they may consider a 5-3 split. However, early indications are that the Boks will revert to a 6-2 split with Reinach and Manie Libbok or Pollard taking up the two backline slots on the bench.
