Everyone around the country will be partaking in various leisure activities today, or just putting their feet up, after December 15th was declared a public holiday. That’s because of the Springboks and their glorious endeavours in Paris when they claimed their fourth Rugby World Cup crown. Perhaps a braai is on the cards?

Speaking of putting one’s feet up, Malcolm Marx is currently laid low with a cruciate ligament injury. When quizzed on his ideal last meal, he asked if he could order two items — a bacon, avocado and feta pizza with extra mozzarella, and “spag bol [spaghetti bolognese]”. For Steven Kitshoff it’s “pork ribs, barbecue sauce and a lot of thick-cut chips”, and for Vincent Koch, an oxtail pot. Lovely.
