Siya Kolisi is lining up for his last bow at the famed Shark Tank in Durban as the Sharks face Munster.

It’s a United Rugby Championship match with a lot of significance. The Sharks want to wrap up a place in the play-offs of the United Rugby Championship and next season’s Champions Cup.

But it will also be the last time for home fans to see Kolisi in action in the black strip of the Sharks. He is taking his family to France after the Rugby World Cup.

Sharks home farewell for Kolisi

The Sharks start the final round of the regular season in eighth place and the Stormers will likely beat Benetton so there’s no reason to worry about the Italian club moving ahead of the Durban-based team.

But Kolisi will want to end of a high in a repeat of the match recently which saw the Sharks beat Munster 50-35 in the Champions Cup play-offs.

The Irish side will be up for it as they beat the Stormers 26-24 last week.

“It will be a tricky one because we played them three weekends ago and they would have learnt from that experience,” Sharks director of rugby, Powell, said as reported by SARugbyMag.

“But the beauty is that it’s in our hands. How we approach the game and what we want out of it is in our hands.

“Hopefully, we can have a good week’s preparation and have a better performance than what we had [on Friday night].”

Time to say goodbye

Rachel and Siya Kolisi are preparing to take their family to France as the Springbok captain has agreed a deal to join French rugby union club Racing 92.

Rachel took to Instagram to point out that the time for their family to move overseas is drawing closer.

“Last few home games with @sharksrugby 🥹🥲 I love it here ❤️,” she said.
