RIP: Remembering Lomu on anniversary of his death

Take a look back at some of these iconic moments and highlights of All Blacks great, Jonah Lomu, who died on this day in 2015.

After a long-ranging battle with a rare kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, Lomu passed away at the age of 40 on 18 November 2015.

The powerful wing was the star of the 1995 World Cup in South Africa, and went on to become the sport’s first global superstar. 

Lomu also became the youngest ever All Black when he played his first international in 1994 at the age of 19 years and 45 days, while he finished his international career with 63 caps and 37 tries.
