Richardson was one of four South African-born players to be included in Scotland’s squad for the November Test matches, but did not feature in the games against Australia and the Springboks.

However, the former Junior Springbok is now in line to make his Test debut.

In total, Scotland coach Gregor Townsend made seven changes to the starting XV for the final Autumn Nations Series match at Murrayfield.

Scarlets’ prop Javan Sebastian and Dylan Richardson were both called into the matchday 23 for the first time.

Edinburgh Rugby front row pair Stuart McInally and Pierre Schoeman are available off the bench after featuring last week against South Africa, as is Glasgow Warriors’ No 8 Matt Fagerson and Exeter Chiefs’ forward Sam Skinner.
