Ex-Proteas star Makhaya Ntini lands a new job ahead of T20 World Cup

Former Proteas star Makhaya Ntini has landed a new job ahead of the start of the new CSA T20 Knock Out event, which gets underway on Friday.

Former Proteas fast bowler Makhaya Ntini has landed a new job ahead of the start of the new CSA T20 Knock Out event, which gets underway on Friday.

The CSA T20 Knock Out event will run between Friday, 24 September and 22 October.

The controversial former fast bowler has been added to the SuperSport TV roster as one of the commentators for the cricket event.

Ntini was previously working as a commentator for SABC Sport but his expertise wasn’t used to the fullest as the public broadcaster couldn’t screen every cricket event and game.

Now, with this new opportunity, cricket fans across the country can listen to Ntini’s commentary on a regular basis.

Joining Ntini as commentators at SuperSport TV are also former Proteas fast bowlers in Mfuneko Ngam and Monde Zondeki.

The three former Proteas fast bowlers are also likely to be heard again during the T20 World Cup which gets underway on 23 October in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Friday:WP v Lions (SS Grandstand and SS Cricket, 9.55am); Heat v SWD (SS Action and SS Cricket, 2.25pm).

Saturday:SWD v WP (SS Variety 1 and SS Cricket, 9.55am); Heat v Lions (SS Variety 1, 2.25pm).

Sunday:SWD v Lions (SS Action, SS Grandstand and SS Cricket, 9.55am); Heat v WP (SS Action, 2.25pm).
