The Proteas have thrashed the Black Caps at the Cricket World Cup, completing a ‘double’ win over New Zealand in the space of four days.

The Proteas posted 357/4 in their allotted 50 overs with Rassie van der Dussen (133) and Quinton de Kock (114) flaying the Black Caps’ attack to all parts of the MCA International Stadium in Pune.

In their turn at the crease, New Zealand could only manage a paltry 167 in 35.3 overs, giving the Proteas a massive 190-run victory to all-but secure their place in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, no one will forget in a hurry the Springboks’ 12-11 win over the All Blacks in the Rugby World Cup final at the Stade de France in Paris last Saturday.
