Zulu King Misuzulu takes second wife, Nozizwe Mulela

The Zulu nation’s incoming new King Misuzulu is taking a second wife in Nozizwe Mulela. She is Eswatini’s smart beauty and ex-FNB Bank Head.

The soon-to-be coronated King Misuzulu Zulu is marrying a second wife from Eswatini: Nozizwe Mulela. She follows after the first wife Ntokozo Mayisela.

NOZIZWE MELULA, KING MISUZULU’S WIFE NUMBER TWO

The son of the late King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu was officially appointed as the next Zulu king on 7 May 2021 after his father’s death on 12 March 2021. His coronation is set to be held in December.

He is held in special esteem as the first eligible royal bachelor. The St.Charles College former pupil is the first son of the late King Goodwill and Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu. He is also the Grandson of King Sobhuza II and nephew to King Mswati III of Eswatini.

Meanwhile, the 47-year-old, who is one of King Goodwill Zwelithini’s 28 children, has chosen his second wife.

Not much is known about Nozizwe Melula’s personal life, but what is clear is that she is quite the career woman. According to her readily available profile, the Stellenbosch University graduate is the Managing Director of Eswatini Bank. The upcoming wedding will follow soon after scooping a major career move.

Her previous major roles include Head of Business Banking at FNB Eswatini and Relationship Manager at Standard Bank Eswatini.

FIRST WIFE: NTOKOZO MAYISELA

Who is King Misuzulu’s first wife? The name is Ntokozo Mayisela, whom the King met in August 2009 during his sister’s wedding.

The King soon sent his elders and Zulu leaders to Mayisela’s home to negotiate and pay lobola in May 2021. The deal was agreed on thanks to a reported R50 000 payment and eight cows.

Six months later, King Misuzulu is now set on making Nozizwe Mulela his second wife.
