Tributes to the late musician Zahara have started flooding the internet’s social media channels after the star’s untimely death in a Johannesburg hospital.

Born in 1988, the singer achieved widespread fame after signing her first music contract into motion with her 2011 album ‘Loliwe’.

Who was she?
Zahara was born on 9th November 1988, from the East London province.

She soon achieved fame as one of the country’s best vocalists and songwriters, starting with her debut album Loliwe released in 2011.
She was a musician with a lot of soul – and combined with vocals that could chill out anyone.

Her last.album Nqaba Yam appeared in 2021.
