‘Extremely hot’: Heatwave conditions in Western Cape persist

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued an advisory for heatwave conditions in the Western Cape.

Heatwave conditions in the Western Cape are expected to last until Tuesday, 6 February.

This is according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS) as it has issued another advisory as temperatures continue to soar.

HEATWAVE CONDITIONS IN THE WESTERN CAPE

The weather service said heatwave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected over the Central and Little Karoo until Tuesday, 6 February.

“Minimum temperatures in the lower 20s and maximum temperatures in the higher 30s can be expected over the Karoo regions of the Western Cape until Tuesday,” the weather service said.
