WOULD YOU WEAR A WEDDING DRESS MADE FROM PLASTIC UTENSILS?

Social media recently went wild after seeing a woman wear a wedding dress made from plastic cups and plates. Although material forms the base of the design, it’s the intricate use of plastic recyclables that really makes the dress shine.

Fashion designer Isabelle Tengue shared a video of a woman parading in the unique wedding dress on TikTok.

In the video, the woman can be seen walking down a flight of stairs while another woman helps carry the impressive train of the dress.

While the dress’s bodice is made almost entirely from plastic cups, the front of the skirt boasts a circular design made from what appears to be plastic spoons and plates. The design also features some metallic and what seems to be cut-out detail. The back of the ball-gown skirt and train are made from plastic plates, giving it an almost scallop look.
