Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) delivered its election manifesto to a packed Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban on Sunday.

The party became the third political party to launch its manifesto in KwaZulu Natal (KZN), after the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and the ANC used the same venue recently.

Here are some pictures from the IFP manifesto launch below:

Party President, Velenkosini Hlabisa, said South Africans should vote for change in the coming elections and to give KwaZulu-Natal back to the IFP which it lost to the ANC in 2004.He said South Africa “stands on the brink of collapse due to weak leadership and corruption.

“The province of KwaZulu-Natal, under an IFP-led government, saw development and prosperity. With our proven track record of service delivery and integrity, we ask you to trust us again in 2024,” Hlabisa said.

“South Africa stands on the brink of collapse, not because of any lack of our people, but because South Africa has been subjected to poor governance, weak leadership and corruption,” he said.

“The IFP is no stranger to government. We seek to serve because we know, from experience, that we can better administer governance,” said the IFP leader.
