MOM AND DAUGHTER RAN OVER AFTER DRAKE CONCERT

The 22-year-old driver is said to now be facing two counts of first-degree involuntary manslaughter charges and two counts of armed criminal action in connection to the deaths of his victims Laticha Bracero (42) and Alyssa Cordova (21).

It was reported that there were also two other teen girls as well as a 61-year-old woman who were injured in the jaw-dropping crash. CCTV footage of the crash has been widely circulated on social media. In the clip, Henderson can also be seen colliding with another vehicle after jumping the red lights.

MONTE HENDERSON RECEIVES BAIL

According to The U.S Sun, a police record showed that “Data retrieved from the Jeep Grand Cherokee indicated that the vehicle was traveling at speeds in excess of 70 mph before violating the red traffic signal.”

It was reported that Bracero was pronounced dead at the scene. Her daughter on the other hand died shortly after being rushed to hospital.

Monte Henderson has since been released from jail after posting only 10 per cent ($20 000 (an estimated R380 000)) of his bail.

STL Today has reported that Judge Annette Llewellyn allowed Henderson to pay the 10 per cent of his bail as he had no prior felonies. Judge Llewellyn does not consider the 22-year-old as a threat to society or a flight risk.

The day after Henderson’s accident took place, Mayor Tishaura O. Jones was quoted as saying: “While the City has made significant investments in traffic and pedestrian infrastructure, reckless driving continues to be an urgent and immediate issue that directly affects the safety and wellbeing of residents and visitors alike.”
