AT LEAST REA VAYA BUSES ARE BACK

Meanwhile, after two-day operational challenges, sister company Rea Vaya returned to operations earlier this month.

On 30 September, Rea Vaya announced the return on social media.
“Rea Vaya Passengers are informed that buses will be operating effective on Sunday 1 October 2023,” the company said.

This after the commuters endured the worst experience after the company announced the cancellation of the service for two days in a row last month. No regular updates were made which further caused an inconvenience to the commuters.
The issue came after a labour dispute which resulted in almost 10 buses being out of service.

Nonetheless, Rea Vaya apologised and thanked the commuters for their patience over the two days of non-operation in the metro.
