‘Unbelievable!’ SA reacts to SUV driver’s 536km/h speeding fine in Windhoek, Namibia

A viral Facebook post of an image of a fine indicating a Toyota Land Cruiser had been caught traveling at 536km/h caught people’s attention.

South African readers expressed disbelief – while others congratulated the Land Cruiser driver for being brave enough to reach that lofty speed.

Incident took place in Namibia

According to Cardehko, the top speed of the Toyota SUV is around 190km/h.

Although the image was only recently posted on social media, on closer inspection the document shows that the alleged incident took place in 2014 in Windhoek, Namibia.
