SHOCKING: Two men found dead with gunshot wounds

Another two men have been found with gunshot wounds to their bodies inside a car in KwaZulu-Natal. The motive is unknown yet

Two men were discovered dead with gunshot wounds earlier this week in Durban.

SECURITY RUSH TO DISCOVER TWO MEN DEAD WITH GUNSHOT WOUNDS

On Monday, 21 November, Marshall Security responded to the scene of the two men whose lifeless bodies were lying inside a car.

“Our teams responded to a shooting incident in the Avoca area where it was established that two gunshot victims had been declared deceased on arrival,” said Tyron Powell, Marshall Security Managing Director.

“At approximately 14h45 the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received multiple calls and messages on various WhatsApp crime alert groups where it was reported that a shooting incident had taken place on Effingham Road. Multiple Armed Response Officers and members of our Special Operations Team were dispatched and arrived on scene within minutes,” Powell explained.

He added that reports from the scene indicated that two unknown males, who were still seated in their vehicle, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were declared deceased on the arrival of paramedics.


“Multiple spent cartridges of a high calibre rifle were found on the scene.”

The crime scene was secured by Greenwood Park SAPS assisted by members of the Marshall Security Special Operations team.
“Circumstances leading to the shooting are currently unknown and will be investigated further by the Greenwood Park SAPS,” Powell indicated.

Another tragic incident with bleak circumstances is the murder of Oupa ‘DJ Sumbody’ Sefoka who was killed in a hail of bullets together with his bodyguard this past weekend.

South Africa woke up to the devastating news of DJ Sumbody’s death on Sunday, 20 November. This instantly became yet another saddest day in the South African entertainment scene. The motive for his killing is currently under investigation. His memorial service took place yesterday, Wednesday, 23 November in Centurion.
