Truck driver critical after losing control of vehicle in Benoni
A truck driver is reportedly in a critical condition after he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a retaining wall.

A truck driver is in a critical condition after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with a retaining wall on the side of the N12 in Benoni, Gauteng.
The incident happened on Saturday, 8 October 2022.
TRUCK DRIVER IN A CRITICAL CONDITION
According to emergency service ER24, a passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries in the incident.
ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 11:20 on Saturday along with the Fire Department and the Metro Police.
The driver, a 23-year-old male, was found entrapped in the cab and was extracted while Advanced Life Support interventions were being administered. He was then flown to a private hospital by a private emergency medical helicopter for further care.
“The 24-year-old male passenger was treated for minor injuries and transported to hospital by ER24 for further care. As stated, law enforcement were on the scene for further investigations.”
