A collection of personal essays written by Trevor Noah are set to be published in a book coming out this November.

According to a press release, the essays chronicle Noah’s youth in apartheid South Africa as well as the “tumultuous days of freedom that came with its demise”.

Publisher Spiegel & Grau has acquired these essays which detail the times when Noah was “subsisting on caterpillars during months of extreme poverty or making comically hapless attempts at teenage romance, from the time he was thrown in jail to the time he was thrown from a speeding car driven by murderous gangsters”.

The book does not currently have a title. Associated Press has reported that it is worth more than $3 million.
