‘Flexing’: Thabo Bester appears in court wearing pricey LV sweater
From Nike to Burberry and now LV. Facebook rapist Thabo Bester appeared virtually in court cladding an expensive Louis Vuitton sweater.

Convicted criminal Thabo Bester appeared in court wearing an expensive luxury branded Louis Vuitton (LV) sweater that costs $2099 (just over R38 000) according to the StockX website.
Bester appeared virtually at the Kgosi Mampuru II Prison in Tshwane on Tuesday, 20 June.

It looks like South Africans have shifted their focus from Bester’s crimes and now pay careful attention on his fashion sense during his court appearances.
While many were impressed that even in prison still clads expensive apparel, some bemoaned this and questioned why he wasn’t wearing an orange overall like other prisoners.
“The ANC has turned the prisons into 5 Star hotels. Abo Thabo Bester appear in court wearing abo Louis Vuitton, this thing must change he’s a convicted criminal and must appear in his orange overalls!” @misumuzi_4 tweeted.
“From Nike to Burberry to Louis Vuitton, I bet he’s coming in Gucci next time,”@mzansi_girl also tweeted.
Bester’s last court appearance had tongues wagging as he cladded a R19 000 Burberry hoodie instead of the normal orange prison uniform.
According to the Department of Correctional Services, inmates – including those remanded in custody – are permitted to wear civilian clothing during court appearances.
