Oh joy. Eskom are back at it with their increased load shedding antics. Not content with inflicting a miserable round of Stage 2 outages upon us all, the firm has announced that STAGE 3 cuts will now be with us right through until Monday morning.

An e-hailing rider from KwaZulu-Natal is counting her blessings after surviving a brutal stabbing attack by a driver.

The body of a four-year-old boy, Mpendulo Ngcukani, was found next to the N11 Road near Middelburg, Mpumalanga on Friday, 9 September. He was reported missing on Saturday, 30 July.

It’s a new era for the commonwealth, following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, 8 September 2022. Her eldest son, Prince Charles, officially became the reigning monarch and changed his title to King Charles III, but this isn’t the only title change in the British Royal family.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema has set tongues wagging after tweeting about “good riddance” after Queen Elizabeth’s death was announced.

Here’s why load shedding has increased to STAGE 3 this weekend

Oh joy. Eskom are back at it with their increased load shedding antics. Not content with inflicting a miserable round of Stage 2 outages upon us all, the firm has announced that STAGE 3 cuts will now be with us right through until Monday morning.

On Tuesday, South Africa was plunged into darkness once more, and 74 hours of rolling blackouts were forecast. Sadly, that proved to be a conservative estimate. Stage 3 will now take place from 14:00 on Friday afternoon.

Four-year-old’s body found near home six weeks after he went missing

The body of a four-year-old boy, Mpendulo Ngcukani, was found next to the N11 Road near Middelburg, Mpumalanga on Friday, 9 September. He was reported missing on Saturday, 30 July.

Mpendulo’s body was found just five kilometres from his parents’ home, said the South African Police Service (SAPS).

The police said a fruitless search was launched immediately after the four-year-old’s disappearance. Community members also helped and the investigating officer brought in several other units, including a mounted unit, FCS unit and divers, to “intensify the search.”

E-hailing rider recounts stabbing incident by driver [GRAPHIC]

An e-hailing rider from KwaZulu-Natal is counting her blessings after surviving a brutal stabbing attack by a driver.

Phumelele Luthuli took to Facebook on Tuesday, 6 September to share photographs of her bloodied body after she claimed to have been attacked by an e-hailing driver in Durban.

The e-hailing rider claims she requested a trip to Musgrave and was unfortunate to be lifted by the alleged assailant.

REVEALED: New titles in the royal family after the Queen’s death

It’s a new era for the commonwealth, following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, 8 September 2022. Her eldest son, Prince Charles, officially became the reigning monarch and changed his title to King Charles III, but this isn’t the only title change in the British Royal family.

The Queen lead the monarchy for seven decades and was 96 years old.

King Charles III’s wife will now be Queen Consort, a title which elevates her position in the firm. In February, Queen Elizabeth expressed her wish for Camilla, then the Duchess of Cornwall, to become Queen Consort once Prince Charles (at the time), takes over the monarchy. The couple, whose titles were Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, got married in 2005.

‘Good riddance’: Is Malema celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s death?

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema has set tongues wagging after tweeting about “good riddance” after Queen Elizabeth’s death was announced.

Elizabeth passed away at age 96 on Thursday, 8 September in Balmoral, Scotland.

Julius Malema, who is very vocal on issues pertaining to colonialism and slavery in the African continent took to Twitter and wrote “God, good riddance; only one remains in SA.” It is not yet clear who is the only one remaining that he was referring to.
