JUST IN: Senzo Meyiwa murder trial postponed to Wednesday
The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has once again been postponed to Wednesday due to the unavailability of an interpreter.

The trial of the five men accused of killing former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa has been postponed to Wednesday, 10 May due to the unavailability of an interpreter.
State witness and Meyiwa’s close friend Mthokozisi Thwala was expected to continue giving testimony under cross-examination by defence lawyer for accused 3 Advocate Charles Mnisi as Advocate Sipho Ramosepele who represents accused 1 – 2 wrapped up his cross-examination on Monday, 8 May.
SENZO MEYIWA MURDER TRIAL POSTPONED
State Prosecutor, Advocate George Baloyi told the court that the interpreter informed them on Tuesday morning to say due to circumstances beyond his control he will not be able to come to court.
“An alternative interpreter was arranged but he is in Palm Ridge Court, we agreed that the matter should stand down until tomorrow,” Baloyi said.

Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead on 26 October 2014 at the home of his girlfriend and singer Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus, Gauteng in an alleged botched robbery.
Five men are on trial for the murder of the soccer star, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli. They face charges of premeditated murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravated circumstances, possession of firearms without a licence and possession of ammunition. All the five men pleaded not guilty.
